The Scottish Fiscal Commission's Freedom of Information (FoI) Policy Statement

We're committed to being open and transparent across all of our activities. 

This commitment is reflected in our approach to handling requests for information under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 and the Environmental Information (Scotland) Regulations 2004.

We ensure, through detailed guidance and training material, all staff are familiar with our practices and procedures for handling requests in accordance with the Commission’s FoI policy.

The Chief Executive has overall strategic responsibility for FoI.
