Funeral Expense Assistance (FEA)

Funeral Expense Assistance help individuals on low incomes cover the cost of a funeral. To be eligible for Funeral Expense Assistance, claimants must be in receipt of a qualifying benefit and be responsible for the cost of the funeral.

The Scottish Government plan to introduce Funeral Expense Assistance (FEA) as a replacement for Funeral Payments by summer 2019.
