Funeral Support Payment (FSP)

Funeral Support Payment helps individuals on low incomes cover the cost of a funeral. To be eligible for Funeral Support Payment, claimants must be in receipt of a qualifying benefit and be responsible for the cost of the funeral.

The Scottish Government plan to introduce Funeral Support Payment as a replacement for Funeral Payments by summer 2019.
