Approach to Forecasting Social Security

The Scotland Act 2016 devolved a number of social security benefits to Scotland. The transfer of powers to the Scottish Parliament is underway. This paper sets out the Scottish Fiscal Commission’s intended approach to forecasting devolved social security payments.
